Emily Beal
Sr. Product Manager
👋🏼 Hi, I’m emily
I Deliver Ai products that spark joy and deliver results
My Values
Make It Work, Then Make It Beautiful
Impact comes from solving real problems. I focus on delivering solutions that meet user needs and drive business results. Then I elevate them into experiences that feel seamless, meaningful, and human.
Let Users Be the GPS, Not a Checkbox
Assumptions make risky roadmaps. I prioritize real user insights to reduce uncertainty, uncover unmet needs, and build products that solve the right problems. Research is not a formality. It’s the foundation.
Technology Serves People
Technology is a tool, not the end goal. I focus on designing AI-powered solutions that respect human context, solve meaningful problems, and drive real value without losing the human thread.
If It’s Not Instantly Clear, Simplify It
Complexity confuses. Clarity converts. I distill decisions, features, and flows down to what users actually need. When things make sense instantly, people trust and adopt more quickly.
Don’t Just Throw Spaghetti at a wall
Great products aren’t built on guesswork. I start with clear hypotheses, then test, learn, and iterate with purpose. Every feature earns its place by solving a real problem or driving measurable value.
Part of a crew
No product moves forward alone. I create shared context across teams, bridge the gap between ideas and execution, and help each contributor do their best work. Collaboration isn’t just process. It’s product strategy.

My Experience
2016-2020

Visual Design Foundations

I began my design career after earning a B.A. in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. Early roles on marketing and creative teams at companies like Fathom, Texas A&M University, Schneider's Saddlery, and LeafFilter gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, brand systems, and cross-functional collaboration.

These experiences sharpened my design craft and taught me how to deliver business-aligned creative at scale.

2020-2022

First Exposure to Product

At FieldPulse, I stepped into the role of Brand Experience Designer. While my work was still visually driven, I started collaborating more closely with product and engineering teams, helping shape parts of the digital experience.

This was my first real taste of working with a product team and it sparked a growing curiosity about how design could improve usability, not just aesthetics.

2020-2022

Falling in Love with UX

Joining Concept as a Marketing Specialist opened the next chapter. I was embedded in tools and systems every day—taking notes, sketching ideas, and identifying where the user experience could be better. I wasn’t just designing around problems—I was itching to solve them.

That hands-on exposure to real user pain points made it clear: product design wasn’t just something I was interested in. It is where I thrive.

2022-2025

Leveling Up in Product

Leadership at Concept recognized my growing product mindset and promoted me to UI/UX Designer. I took the lead on improving digital experiences across web and email, focusing on usability, conversion, and engagement.

To deepen my expertise, I completed MIT xPRO’s Building and Designing Products certification. That opened the door to an opportunity with Google. A short-term marketing contract, full of uncertainty. Although an opportunity with a dream company, I was determined to shift my career into product.

I made the difficult decision to turn the contract down for comfortability, stability only to be laid off soon after.

To Infinity & Beyond

Continuing an impactful journey

Now, I’m looking for the right team, the right challenge, and the chance to build something that truly helps people.

I bridge the gap between user pain points and product breakthroughs. I bring a strong foundation in design, a strategic mindset shaped by startup speed, and a deep curiosity about how AI can solve real problems—not just automate tasks. I’ve helped launch early-stage products, align cross-functional teams, and bring structure to ambiguity.

Now, I’m ready for what’s next:
To shape responsible AI experiences.
To lead with clarity and heart.
To help teams move fast and solve problems with care.

I’m drawn to teams who are mission-minded, user-obsessed, and not afraid to ask hard questions. If you’re building something with purpose and need a product partner who can bring systems thinking, design empathy, and a bias for action. I’d love to connect.
